Every Doyenne The Label garment is made with great care in Great Britain. As well as this, we are a British brand through and through, with all designs drawn by hand here in England. We are proud to work with a fantastic London studio, where we personally collaborate on patterns to ensure ultimate fit and functionality. We are able to monitor production closely and react to demand with flexibility that you do not get with overseas production. We are proud to support the UK fashion and textiles industry, and we hope to one day to have a big impact on bringing garment production back on home soil.
CONSCIOUS FABRIC SOURCING
The fabric selection process for our British heritage clothing range is arguably the most important part of the whole development process. The wool's and tweed's we select for our Jackets and Coats are all made in Great Britain from fantastic mills in England. The businesses are often family run and established for many years. The leather we use is always 100% real leather and will only get better with age. These skins are sustainably sourced, and are a by product of the meat industry, meaning the farming priority is for food and the skin is of secondary value. These skins would otherwise go to waste, and also means the whole animal can be used.
